It was a happy Thanksgiving

The weekend of the 21st and 22nd Dale and Logan had a scout campout at Mantua. They had a good time campping out. They did a service project the next day by digging holes for new archery targets.

Most of us were out of school and off of work, for four days over Thanksgiving. So obviously we went hunting. Wednesday everyone except Kyle (because of wrestling practice) went to Salt Creek. The birds were flying long and we went through a lot of shells. Logan shot a hen pintail and a hen widgeon. Weston got two hen pintail and Colton got a drake pintail. The rest of the weekend was spent trying to get Kyle's swan with no luck.

On Thanksgiving the family came over and the only pictures we got were of Liam. He is pretty much the life of the party whenever he comes around. Tom and Shar's family came, Josh, Jen, and Liam, along with Tess, Blake, and Corbin.

More good times

Hey everybody, we finally have new pictures. Were trying real hard to remember to take the camera everywhere with us. Several times we have remembered the camera and the batteries were dead though. Tom and Dale have been taking the boys out hunting every chance they get. Recently we were out chasing swan, Kyle and Weston have tags, but we got skunked. Blair and Justin went with us and since there wasn't much flying it turned into a B.S. session with the oldest boys telling jokes their mom's don't need to know about. It was one of the best days hunting that we've had and not hardly a shot was fired.

On Friday Logan's team played a game and came out on the bad end on a score of 10-3. Logan had some great saves and tried his best to keep his team in the game. He starts wrestling Monday for Rockwahl.

Saturday Kegan went to Layton for a tournament and had a good day. He tech falled his first opponent and then pinned the next two and took first.

We were at the dessert party to draw names for the Christmas party and the only way to get Amber to go is to make sure Liam is there.

New Pictures of the Boys

Sorry we haven't been to commited to this, but since it was a slow Saturday we decided to have Kyle and Logan work on their famliy life merit badge. One of the requirements is to do a family project. So this is it, this way we know it will be updated for at least the next three months. Since the first post we have taken new pictures of the boys. We liked Shar's idea of taking the pictures at the Nature Center on Mtn. Road.

Here is Kegan, he is 8 yrs old.

He finished up football and has started

wrestling and indoor soccer. Watch for

updates!

Here is Logan, age 12. He has wrapped up

outdoor soccer and started up indoor,

and is planning on wrestling.

Here is Kyle, age 16. Just finished

outdoor soccer and is getting ready

to wrestle for the high school.

Saturdays in September!

We thought we would join the other members of the clan and start our own blog
so here's the first post!

This is how we spend our Saturdays in September! Football Games! Soccer Games(refin' to playin')! Even though we don't have games until 12:30 most days we're at the fields at 7:30 AM to give back to the game more than we have taken.

Logan and Kyle spent
the morning as refs
then both had games
in the afternoon.

Logan's team won 6-2
(the Mighty Midget's
second win ever)

Kyle and Weston's
AYSO team eaked
out a close one 3-2
(they are glad to be
playing together again)

Kegan's football team
lost this game but
they are getting
better every game!
(hopefully they'll
get the next one)
and he has a great
time playing with his
friend Koy
